Job Description

The Facilities Engineer is responsible for the efficient management and upkeep of Ayala Corporation's corporate workspace. This role ensures the smooth operation of daily facilities activities, oversees maintenance and repairs, and upholds compliance with safety, WELL Building Standards, and OSH requirements. The position plays a key role in promoting a productive, healthy, sustainable, and employee-centric work environment, while supporting the operational needs of various business units and shared facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Workspace & Facility Operations

  • Oversee the operational management of Ayala Corporation's corporate workspace, including shared areas, executive zones, collaboration spaces, and wellness-related facilities (e.g., lactation rooms, quiet rooms).
  • Monitor daily facilities performance, ensuring all workspaces are safe, functional, and aligned with service standards.

Compliance & Building Standards

  • Implement and monitor adherence to the WELL Building Standard features, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements, and accessibility policies.
  • Coordinate inspections, documentation, and corrective actions to maintain compliance.

Space Planning & Workplace Strategy

  • Lead seating and workspace planning
  • Maintain accurate floor plans, seating charts, and occupancy data.

Maintenance Coordination

  • Coordinate with building administration, contractors, and vendors for facility-related works, including repairs, corrective actions, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ensure proper scheduling, tracking, and quality assurance of all maintenance activities.

Property Asset Management

  • Manage assigned corporate properties and assets such as Anvaya, Pineridge, Serin, and other locations as identified.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Technical Knowledge / Special Training / Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate facilities or workspace management.
  • Experience in WELL-certified or sustainability-driven environments is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving capabilities.
