Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Facade Engineer to join our Buildings and Infrastructure Unit. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of facade systems in various construction projects. As a key liaison between stakeholders, you will play an active role in conducting inspections, identifying potential issues, and ensuring that facade installations meet industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Inspection & Quality Assurance Perform regular on-site inspections to assess the quality, structural integrity, and compliance of facade systems.
- Stakeholder Coordination Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure that all facade-related information is provided for thorough site inspections and audits.
- Problem Solving & Risk Mitigation Analyze inspection results, identify potential defects or issues, and provide technical recommendations to address them effectively.
- Project Reporting Prepare and present detailed progress reports, documenting findings, corrective actions, and ensuring all stakeholders are informed of key developments.
- Compliance & Safety Standards Ensure that facade installations adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Additional Responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned to support project success.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Certification Licensed Engineer (Civil/Structural) or Licensed Architect.
- Experience Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in facade inspection, facade engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of facade materials, installation techniques, waterproofing systems, and quality control processes.
- Project Management Skills Ability to manage multiple inspections, coordinate with different teams, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Communication & Problem-Solving Strong client-facing skills with the ability to provide clear reports and technical guidance.
- Willingness to Work Onsite This role requires frequent site visits and hands-on inspections.
