Role Summary

The Fabrication Manager oversees all sheet metal fabrication operations for electrical enclosures and switchgear, ensuring production targets for quality, cost, safety, and delivery are consistently achieved. This role leads fabrication teams, optimizes resources, and drives continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily fabrication operations, including punching, bending, welding, assembly, and finishing processes.
• Lead, develop, and coach production teams to maximize performance and productivity.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Optimize manpower, materials, and equipment utilization to control costs and meet production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and engineering specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; PRC license is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing or fabrication experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication or plastic fabrication processes.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, Lean Manufacturing, and process improvement.
• Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with quality systems and workplace safety standards.
