Job Responsibilities

  • The F&B Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, delivering orders promptly, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role involves maintaining knowledge of the menu, handling guest requests professionally, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee smooth service. Waiters also ensure cleanliness and proper table settings, process payments accurately, and uphold company standards for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations when requested.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and quality.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and handle requests or concerns professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
  • Ensure proper table settings, including cutlery, glassware, and linens.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Follow company policies, service standards, and safety & hygiene guidelines.
  • Process billing and payments accurately, providing receipts and handling transactions securely.
  • Support team members during peak hours and assist with setup and closing duties.
  • Support and assigned in pantry area as part of job rotation.
  • Handle cashiering and any settlement of bills that is related to restaurant transactions.
  • Check daily reservation and know the guest table assignment.
  • Monitor daily out of stocks and running low.
  • Follow brand standard as required of sequence of service.
  • Able to check identify and check guest allergens and dietary requirements.
  • Delivering attentive and friendly guest service.
  • Taking and serving orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, table setup, and dining standards.
  • Coordinating with team members for seamless operations.
  • Handling guest concerns and feedback with professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree of Hospitality Management or equivalent (hospitality-related course is a plus).
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service or customer service is an advantage but not always required. Chinese Fine Dining/ Fine Dining restaurant experience is a plus.
  • Background of cashiering, handling VIP/VVIP and reservation system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and dining etiquette.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
