Support the global External Communication team across the full range of external communication activities, contributing to high-quality media-ready content and deliverables
Provide daily media monitoring support, including tracking traditional media, online news, trade publications and social media conversations relevant to WTW
Assist with the measurement, analysis and reporting of regional and global media coverage, helping to highlight trends, performance and opportunities
Use social media platforms to amplify key messages, insights and thought leadership in coordination with the External Communication and Digital teams
Coordinate timelines for deliverables and campaigns; gather and synthesize information from subject matter experts; support the review and approval workflow
Review and edit materials (including press releases, media statements, articles and briefing documents) for clarity, accuracy and alignment with WTW's brand and style standards, using WTW AI tools to support the review process
Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors (such as translation teams or design resources) as needed to support the development and execution of External Communication campaigns
Contribute to effective management of External Communication tools and channels, such as media monitoring platforms, social media dashboards and shared content libraries
Build strong working relationships across marketing, communications and business teams as needed
Participate actively in team discussions, sharing ideas and insights to support continuous improvement
Continue to develop technical knowledge and skills in the areas of public relations, digital tools (including AI) and reporting
Qualifications
Three-plus years of experience in external communication/public relations, either in-house or within an agency environment; experience in a Global Service Delivery Center or at WTW is a plus
Strong written and oral English language communications skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, succinct materials tailored for targeted audiences and media use
Demonstrated interpersonal, collaboration and team skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, regions and cultures
Proficiency in business and consumer technologies, including social media platforms, AI-enabled tools (Copilot and Writer) and Microsoft Office (especially Word and PowerPoint); experience with analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI) is a plus
Experience reporting on external communication/public relations activity, with the ability to align analysis of outputs and outcomes to broader company objectives
Detail-oriented, organized and adaptable with solid business acumen and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Comfortable working flexibly with colleagues in multiple locations and time zones, including occasional extended hours as needed
Able to synthesize direction, navigate ambiguity and prioritize actions from a variety of stakeholders
Strong listening skills and the ability to deliver focused, concise written and verbal communication
Works efficiently and effectively under pressure in an environment of continuous improvement
