EXTERNAL AUDITOR

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of external audit engagements in accordance with applicable auditing standards and firm methodologies.
- Perform audit procedures including walkthroughs, testing of internal controls, and substantive testing of financial accounts.
- Prepare and organize audit working papers, schedules, and documentation to support audit conclusions.
- Participate in audit planning, risk assessment, and understanding of clients business processes.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of financial records, transactions, and supporting documents.
- Identify audit issues or discrepancies and escalate findings to senior auditors or managers.
- Assist in drafting audit reports, management letters, and audit deliverables.
- Communicate professionally with client personnel to obtain required information and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to firm policies, quality standards, and deadlines throughout audit engagements.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required; OR Non-CPA candidates must have taken the CPA board examination with a general average of at least 80%.
- 0-12 months of relevant experience in external audit, accounting, or assurance (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and auditing concepts.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced audit environment.
