Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated External Audit Specialist to join a professional services firm. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform external audit engagements in accordance with auditing standards and firm methodologies
- Examine financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Identify risks and internal control issues and provide recommendations
- Prepare audit working papers and documentation
- Collaborate with team members and communicate findings to clients
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required
- At least 2 years of relevant external audit experience
- Strong understanding of accounting and auditing standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
