Level: Audit Manager
We are looking for an experienced External Audit Manager to join a leading professional services environment in Manila.
This is an excellent opportunity for an audit professional with strong external audit experience, Singapore territory experience, and proven people-management capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead external audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
- Develop audit strategies, assess risks and determine appropriate audit procedures.
- Review audit working papers, financial statements and audit conclusions.
- Manage client relationships and communicate with key client stakeholders.
- Lead, coach and develop audit teams, providing regular feedback and guidance.
- Manage engagement budgets, timelines and deliverables.
- Identify accounting, financial reporting and business risks and provide recommendations.
- Ensure audit engagements comply with applicable professional and auditing standards.
- Support senior leadership and contribute to client relationship development and business growth.
Requirements
- At least 6 years 10 months to 7 years of External Audit experience
- CPA is required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
- At least 2 years of people management experience
- Strong experience in General Assurance / External Audit
- Singapore territory / Singapore client audit experience is required
- Experience auditing clients across industries such as:
- Healthcare
- Industrial Products
- Telecommunications
- Media
- Technology
- Retail
- Manufacturing
- Real Estate
- Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
- Proven ability to manage multiple audit engagements and lead audit teams
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills
