Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the planning and execution of complex audit engagements from planning through completion.
Develop and implement risk-based audit strategies and ensure engagement objectives are achieved.
Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact for audit matters.
Review audit workpapers, findings, and deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
Identify financial, operational, and internal control risks and provide practical recommendations.
Provide strategic guidance on complex accounting and audit issues.
Lead, coach, and develop audit teams to promote high performance and continuous improvement.
Monitor engagement timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
Present audit findings, recommendations, and business insights to senior management and clients.
Stay updated on accounting standards, auditing regulations, industry developments, and emerging business risks.
Contribute to business development and strengthen long-term client relationships.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
10–15 years of relevant external audit experience.
Philippines Licensed CPA or US CPA.
Proven experience leading and managing complex audit engagements.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and risk assessment.
Experience managing and mentoring audit teams.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

PREFERRED / ADVANTAGEOUS

Experience working with multinational clients or large organizations.
Experience in a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm.
Industry specialization in one or more sectors.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business strategy.
Ability to translate complex audit and accounting matters into clear business insights.
