Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to audit staff and senior associates.
  • Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Ensure audits are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
  • Identify and communicate key risks, control weaknesses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support business development activities by assisting with proposals and client presentations.
  • Stay up to date on accounting, auditing, and regulatory developments.

Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.

Experience:


  • Minimum 67 years of external audit experience, including audits across various industries.
  • At least 2 years of people management experience.

Skills:


  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
  • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
