DriveWhip is a mobility provider in the Washington, DC area, with offices in multiple cities, including Atlanta, that Leases/Rents vehicles to Uber, Lyft and other On-Demand or Rideshare drivers. As a ground floor member of an exciting new company all associates will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. An appreciation for the pros and cons of start up culture is a must.

About The Role
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented
Express Claims Handler to support our fast-paced claims team. This role focuses on efficiently handling
non-complex auto claims and ensuring timely intake, documentation, and follow-through. You will work closely with internal teams, partner shops, and third-party carriers to help move claims forward quickly and accurately.
This is a
remote role for candidates based in the
Philippines (PHI).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct recorded statements with drivers, claimants, and involved parties.
- Collect all required Police Reports (PRs) and supporting documentation.
- Confirm TNC (Transportation Network Company) coverage and determine proper claim routing.
- Assess liability for non-complex auto claims using available evidence.
- Identify and escalate complex auto claims to the proper team for review.
- File claims with third-party insurance carriers as needed.
- Initiate and coordinate recovery efforts with Whip's partnered body shops.
- Maintain accurate and timely notes within the claims management system.
- Triage complex liability issues, injuries, or high-severity claims to the appropriate team.
- Communicate professionally with drivers, partners, and third-party representatives.
- Support the broader claims team with documentation, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in insurance, claims handling, customer support, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence conducting recorded statements.
- Ability to analyze basic claim facts and make clear liability determinations on straightforward losses.
- Familiarity with auto insurance terminology, TNC platforms, or claims processes is a plus.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent documentation skills.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently with accountability.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for recorded calls.
