Expert Video Editor

We're looking for a talented video editor to join our rapidly growing YouTube team.

About the Role

You'll be editing up to 8 videos per month (roughly 2 per week), each running between 12–20 minutes. These are documentary-style YouTube videos.

Each project includes:

- A provided script and voiceover

- Clear creative direction

- Templates for motion graphics

What You'll Be Doing:

- Edit full-length YouTube videos using scripts and voiceovers we provide

- Source highly relevant footage

- Create up 1-2 minutes of map animations per video using GEOlayers

- Implement motion graphics using provided templates

- Add sound design and audio mixing to elevate the storytelling

- Apply transitions and visual pacing techniques to keep viewer attention high

- Optimize for YouTube retention, with engaging visuals, cuts, and structure

- Deliver videos on time to an agreed-upon schedule (usually 2 per week)

What We're Looking For:

- Proficiency in professional video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro & Adobe After Effects (This is a must!)

- Experience with map animation tools like GEOlayers (or a willingness to learn fast)

- Strong motion graphics skills (using provided templates)

- Great attention to detail in both video and sound

- A self-starter who can work independently and deliver consistent, high-quality work
