Role Description

Kamel Learning is seeking qualified Online Tutors to provide individualized, technology-enabled instruction to students remotely.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging online lessons, explaining complex concepts clearly, and adapting teaching strategies to different learning styles and academic goals. Tutors will assess student needs, monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and help students develop effective study and problem-solving skills.

Additional responsibilities may include creating or selecting appropriate practice materials, maintaining accurate session records, communicating professionally with students and authorized family members, and using video-conferencing and online learning tools effectively.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the listed subjects.
• Ability to explain academic or medical concepts clearly and accurately.
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles, knowledge levels, and educational goals.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Professionalism, empathy, active listening, and respect for diverse students and backgrounds.
• Proficiency with computers, video-conferencing platforms, and online teaching tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, including reliable scheduling and accurate session documentation.
• Prior tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or coaching experience is strongly preferred.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant academic field is preferred for college-level subjects.
• Relevant medical education, examination experience, or professional credentials are strongly preferred for MCAT and USMLE tutoring.
• Reliable computer equipment, a stable internet connection, and an appropriate environment for professional online instruction.
• Commitment to academic integrity and a professional, inclusive, and nondiscriminatory learning environment.
