The Fuel Strategy Expert is responsible for the crafting, communicating, and driving of the Field Development Plan and long-term fuel scenarios for their assigned fields (operating or greenfield) as guided by the Integrated Fuel Strategy and EDC Enterprise Business Plan.
To accomplish this, they manage and drive resource valuation studies establish long-term key performance indicator (KPI) trajectories and key milestone projects and evaluate and run economics of project proposals from the sites.
The Field Development Plan is critical to achieving EDC's long-term priorities as it supports management decision making by ensuring the company is investing in the right things at the right time.
The Fuel Strategy Expert is also responsible for analyzing the progression of long-term KPIs and course-correcting plans based on current context.
They prioritize and sequence projects based on impact to long-term strategy, enterprise objectives, and budget allocation guidelines.
Their role is an essential part of the development of the corporate business plan and supports the preparation of the annual budget through project scoring and ranking.
They will also work closely with regulatory liaison groups to prepare work program commitments, reports, and narratives for regulatory agencies.
