Job Description:

The Executive Officer – Office of the Chairman serves as a trusted partner to the Chairman, providing high-level strategic, operational, and executive support to ensure the effective execution of the Chairman's priorities and organizational objectives. The role is responsible for managing executive initiatives, coordinating with senior leadership, overseeing special projects, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the timely implementation of key business directives. The Executive Officer acts as an extension of the Chairman's office and plays a critical role in driving organizational alignment, governance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic and Executive Support

  • Support the Chairman in executing strategic priorities, business objectives, and corporate initiatives.
  • Conduct research, business analysis, and prepare executive briefings, reports, presentations, and decision-support materials.
  • Monitor progress of key projects and initiatives endorsed by the Chairman and provide regular status updates.
  • Assist in identifying risks, challenges, and opportunities affecting strategic objectives.

Leadership Coordination

  • Coordinate with Executive Committee members, department heads, and business unit leaders to ensure alignment with the Chairman's directives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive execution of strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.
  • Monitor action plans and follow through on commitments made during executive and management meetings.

Governance and Corporate Affairs

  • Assist in the preparation of materials for Board meetings, management committees, and executive discussions.
  • Ensure proper documentation, monitoring, and tracking of executive decisions and action items.
  • Support governance, compliance, and policy-related initiatives as directed by the Chairman.
  • Maintain accurate records of confidential executive documents and correspondence.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a key point of coordination between the Chairman and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage executive communications and facilitate engagements with regulators, investors, business partners, and industry representatives.
  • Represent the Office of the Chairman in meetings and discussions as delegated.

Special Projects and Business Initiatives

  • Lead and coordinate special projects assigned by the Chairman.
  • Drive project execution by collaborating with relevant stakeholders and ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
  • Prepare post-project assessments and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support business transformation and organizational development initiatives.

Executive Administration

  • Manage the Chairman's executive calendar, meetings, and priority engagements when necessary.
  • Ensure effective preparation for meetings through briefing materials, presentations, and documentation.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, events, and executive logistics as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is an advantage.
  • At least 5–8 years of progressive experience in executive support, corporate planning, project management, strategy, banking, financial services, consulting, or related functions.
  • Experience working directly with senior executives, board members, or C-suite leadership is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, strategic planning, and business operations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
