Job Description

Our client, a premier global advisory and solutions firm, is seeking a Executive Communications Lead specializing in Visual Storytelling. This role is a strategic creative position designed to bring complex technology narratives to life for executive-level audiences. The successful candidate will go beyond simple information presentation, crafting visual experiences that drive clarity, confidence, and informed decision-making across a global technology organization.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Storytelling & Presentation Strategy

  • Narrative Design: Design and build executive-level presentations for leadership forums, board meetings, and strategic updates, transforming complex topics (e.g., cybersecurity, cloud transformation, and digital infrastructure) into business-focused narratives.
  • Story Arch Development: Create clear story arcs and structured messaging frameworks that drive understanding and action among C-suite executives and Board members.
  • Visual Hierarchy: Apply advanced design principles, including visual hierarchy, data visualization, and layout, to ensure all strategic communications are impactful and boardroom-ready.

Stakeholder Partnership & Advisory


  • Strategic Liaison: Partner closely with the CIO, CISO, and senior technology leaders to understand evolving priorities and translate them into compelling visual stories.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a consultant on messaging tone and presentation structure, challenging content where necessary to improve clarity and strategic outcomes.
  • Change Management Alignment: Collaborate with change managers and project leads to ensure all communication materials resonate with diverse audiences and align with the broader technology strategy.

Standards, Governance & Innovation


  • Brand Consistency: Elevate the quality of technology leadership materials while strictly adhering to corporate brand guidelines.
  • Asset Management: Create and maintain reusable templates, layouts, and visual standards tailored for high-stakes executive audiences.
  • AI Integration: Leverage emerging AI tools to accelerate content creation, refine visuals, and structure narratives while maintaining professional standards.
  • Digital Presence: Oversee content hierarchy and visual presentation for technology-focused internal platforms (e.g., SharePoint), ensuring optimal user experience (UX).

Requirements


Education & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in executive presentation development, management consulting, PMO, or corporate communications within a large-scale global organization.
  • Sector Background: Proven experience supporting board-level materials, leadership operating reviews, or technology transformation programs.

Technical & Design Skills


  • PowerPoint Mastery: Advanced expertise in PowerPoint, including master slides, complex layouts, and sophisticated data visualization.
  • Design Fundamentals: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, iconography, and layout applied to professional business contexts.
  • Technical Translation: Exceptional ability to simplify highly technical or analytical insights into business-friendly digestible visuals without losing critical context.
  • Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with SharePoint content management and digital solution workflows.
