Job Description

Executive Assistant to Co-Founder & CFO

Location: Remote / Hybrid Reports to: Co-Founder & CFO Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We're looking for a fast, calm, and sharp Executive Assistant to support our Co-Founder & CFO, Jonathan. He's a driven, high-performance leader with a fiery energy and a strong belief in developing people who are ready to rise to the challenge.

You'll act as his right hand, managing his time, anticipating his needs, and ensuring projects move forward with speed and precision. This role demands someone who's quick to think, quicker to act, and able to stay steady under pressure while maintaining a touch of wit and composure in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Executive Support

  • Own Jonathan's calendar, schedule, and inbox.
  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts, manage logistics, and ensure smooth daily operations.

2. Rapid Coordination

- Move quickly on priorities, follow up promptly, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

3. Project Tracking

- Support cross-functional projects, keeping all moving parts aligned and on schedule.

4. Communication

  • Draft concise, polished messages and reports.
  • Represent Jonathan's voice when coordinating internally and externally.

5. Operational & Financial Assistance

- Support expense tracking, reporting, and administrative financial tasks as needed.

6. Decision Support

- Help Jonathan stay focused on what matters most by filtering, prioritizing, and executing with clarity and context.

7. Calm in the Chaos

- Think clearly, solve problems quickly, and respond with composure, even when the pace gets intense.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience supporting senior leadership (startup, finance, or operations background preferred).
  • Lightning-fast responsiveness and strong initiative.
  • Exceptionally organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Quick on your feet, able to think and communicate clearly in dynamic situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; articulate, professional, and witty when needed.
  • Tech-savvy and resourceful (Google Suite, Notion, Slack, Excel/Sheets, etc.).
  • Calm energy with high emotional intelligence, able to match a fast, passionate pace while keeping things grounded.

Good to Have

  • Experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Ability to support light sourcing and screening for select roles alongside the Chief of Staff.
  • Familiarity with hiring processes, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Comfort switching between executive support and occasional people/talent tasks as needed.

Why This Role Matters

You'll be in the room (and often one step ahead) of high-stakes decisions that shape the company. Jonathan is demanding but deeply invested in mentorship. He'll challenge you to level up quickly and think like an operator, not just an assistant.

If you thrive in motion, enjoy solving problems on the fly, and want to learn from a leader who moves fast and expects the same, this is your kind of role.
