Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Events Management, Advertising, Communications or any related field.
At least 5-8 years of work experience as an event coordinator or project/production assistant or similar role
Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve in stressful situations
Ability to source, negotiate with, and manage vendors effectively
Proven events management skills
Highly organised, efficient and a problem solver
Strong communication & negotiation skills and excellent English (written & spoken), with a clear, persuasive writing/ speaking style
Excellent time and task management skills
The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, to deadlines
A bright and pleasant disposition, with a good attitude and self-motivated
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as necessary
Job Details
Event Planning & Strategy: Develop and manage the annual events calendar, create innovative event concepts, and propose strategies aligned with business goals.
Budget & Financial Management: Prepare and manage event budgets, ensure cost control, process financial transactions, and provide accurate financial reporting.
Venue & Logistics Coordination: Secure venues, oversee event logistics, and manage technical, safety, and compliance requirements.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Manage vendor relationships, arrange permits and security, and coordinate with talents/KOLs/Ambassadors, speakers, VIPs, and key stakeholders.
Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with marketing for event promotions, materials, and campaigns to drive audience engagement.
