Job Overview
As the Event Team Leader, your role involves devising creative events for our organization and cultivating strong business relationships, while also contributing to the growth of brand awareness.
In addition to this, the duties of an Event Team Leader also includes:
- Implementing creative event themes,
- Managing event timeline effectively
- Overseeing staff working during the event
- Preparing invoices and follow up payment
- Preparing contract requirements and following up contract completion
- Collaborating with the social media team for marketing efforts
- Managing risk
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize promotional events for the company
- Execute creative themes and concepts
- Plan and coordinate events as per the schedule
- Operate display setups
- Select event venues
- Manage event budgets efficiently
- Arrange event security as and when required
- Process incoming and outgoing invoices
- Maintain a proper cash register
- Interact with prospective clients effectively
- Arrange food and beverages at the event venue
- Maintain stock levels for various event necessities and restock as and when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or a similar field
- At least 3 years of experience as an Event Supervisor, Event Organizer, or a similar role in the Hospitality
- A proven record in organizing events is an advantage
- Knowledgeable in handling social media accounts
- Amazing ability to multitask
- Ability to work for long hours
- Experience in managing resources as well as budget efficiently
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Quick decision-making abilities
- Strong work ethic
- A keen eye for detail
