Job Description

About the Role

DigiPlus is looking for an Events & Brand Activations Manager to own our live brand experience, from the events calendar to the last guest out the door. You will decide which events we invest in, negotiate the deals behind them, lead the team that delivers them, and measure what each one achieved.

This is a leadership role, not a coordination role. You will set the calendar, own the budget and make the calls onsite, while leading our Events & Brand Activations Executive(s). You will also build the function from the ground up: the events playbook, the vendor roster and the framework for measuring results.

Success means events that are delivered on time and on budget, deals that get the most value from every peso, and results you can show: PR, social and creator output, and business outcomes such as registrations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Build and own the quarterly and annual events calendar and decide where the brand shows up: which festivals, partnerships, community and creator events are worth the investment.
  • Set objectives and KPIs for each event with the Strategy & Integration Analyst, report results, and apply the learnings to future events.

Budget & Negotiation

  • Own the events budget: prepare estimates, allocate spend, approve costs and report on variances.
  • Lead negotiations with venues, suppliers, production houses, agencies and hosts on rates, scope, inclusions, payment terms and value-adds.
  • Negotiate partnership and sponsorship terms for third-party events, including branding rights, booth placement, content rights and exclusivity.

Vendor Management

  • Build and manage the vendor and agency roster: run pitches, review performance after every major event, and renegotiate or replace vendors when needed.

Execution

  • Lead end-to-end execution, from concept and run-of-show to permits, logistics and guest management, in line with brand, regulatory and responsible gaming standards.
  • Act as the decision-maker onsite during live events, solving problems on the ground and escalating only what needs it.
  • Plan every event as a PR, social and creator moment, working with PR, Social, Creator Partnerships, Livestream, VIP, Growth, Legal and Compliance from the start.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Events & Brand Activations Executive(s).
  • Set the standard for templates, approvals and post-event reviews.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in events, brand activations, experiential marketing or PR events, on the agency or brand side. At least 2–3 years of this should be leading teams or running major events end-to-end.
  • Proven budget ownership, and comfortable explaining what an event cost and what it delivered.
  • A negotiation track record: you can point to specific savings, upgrades or value-adds you secured.
  • Experience delivering large-format events such as festivals, launches, concerts, mall or community activations, and media events.
  • Experience with creator-, PR- and content-led events.
  • Working knowledge of permits, LGU requirements and event safety.
  • Calm, decisive leadership under live-event pressure, and the confidence to push back on agencies and internal teams.
  • Strong awareness of compliance and brand safety.
  • A background in entertainment, gaming, telco, beverage, consumer goods, lifestyle, tech or an events agency is preferred.
