Job Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and business development for Sky Hall by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and developing sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue targets. The role will focus on promoting Sky Hall's event spaces, facilities, and services to corporate clients, social events, associations, government agencies, and other potential business partners.
The Sales Manager will work closely with internal departments to ensure the successful execution of booked events and provide clients with excellent service from initial inquiry through post-event coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, networking, and client visits.
- Promote Sky Hall's event venues, facilities, packages, and services to prospective clients.
- Generate leads and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings and events.
- Conduct sales presentations, client meetings, site inspections, and sales calls.
Account & Client Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, social, government, association, and other key accounts.
- Manage existing accounts and identify opportunities for repeat business and increased revenue.
- Maintain an updated database of clients, prospects, and business opportunities.
- Handle client inquiries, negotiations, and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Ensure proper follow-up from initial inquiry until event confirmation and post-event engagement.
Revenue Generation
- Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of assigned revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to increase event bookings, client spending, and account penetration.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and other sales documents based on client requirements.
- Negotiate rates and packages within approved company guidelines.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Event & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Events, Marketing, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth delivery of confirmed events.
- Ensure that client requirements and commitments are properly communicated to concerned departments.
- Participate in client meetings and event briefings when necessary.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups to obtain client feedback and encourage repeat business.
Sales Reporting & Administration
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, account updates, and other required documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospects, proposals, and confirmed bookings.
- Provide market feedback and recommendations to management.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience as a Sales Executive in a hotel, resort, convention center, events venue, or related hospitality establishment.
- Candidates with strong hotel sales experience and a proven record of achieving sales targets are highly preferred.
- Experience handling corporate accounts, MICE, social events, group bookings, or banquet/event sales is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, client relationship management, and business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Willing to conduct client visits, sales calls, networking activities, and site inspections.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, when required by business operations.
