Job Description

Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and maximizing bookings for Sky Hall's events and venue spaces. The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, identifying target markets, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional client experiences from inquiry to event completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Generate new business through corporate accounts, event organizers, government agencies, associations, travel and tourism partners, and other market segments.
  • Identify and pursue prospective clients through networking, sales calls, presentations, and business development activities.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation and client meetings to proposal preparation, negotiation, contract signing, and account management.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Prepare customized event proposals, quotations, and contracts based on clients requirements.
  • Conduct venue tours and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of booked events.
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities.
  • Represent Sky Hall at trade shows, industry events, networking activities, and sales missions.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, pipelines, and reports using the company's CRM or sales tracking system.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and contract terms.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and recommend initiatives to improve occupancy, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team (if applicable) to achieve individual and departmental objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE), hospitality, events, venue management, or related industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business development and account management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM or sales management systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Willing to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, when business requires.
