Associate Consultant – Data Engineer (ETL focus)

Role Overview: As an Associate Consultant within the KPMG Delivery Network, you will focus on the design, development, and implementation of robust data pipelines. You will transform raw data into actionable insights, ensuring high data quality and integrity for our global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes to move data from various sources into centralized data warehouses.
• Write complex, optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Develop Python scripts to automate data workflows and perform advanced data manipulations.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Technical Requirements

• SQL: Expert-level proficiency in writing joins, CTEs, and stored procedures.
• ETL Tools: Practical experience with industry-standard ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, or Talend).
• Python: Strong understanding of data libraries such as Pandas or NumPy.
• Foundational Knowledge: Understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts.
