Job Description
The Company
Our client in the semiconductor sector is currently looking for a 1 year contract Logistics Planner to manage end-to-end logistics planning and shipment coordination, covering inbound, outbound, intercompany, and cross-business-unit shipments.
The Role
The role is responsible for end-to-end logistics planning and shipment coordination, covering inbound, outbound, intercompany, and cross-business-unit shipments in line with material availability, order execution, and delivery schedules. The incumbent will coordinate closely with carriers, warehouses, 3PLs, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to manage shipment timing, documentation, lead times, delivery status, capacity constraints, customs risks, and operational issues, while proactively tracking deliveries and escalating exceptions. The role also supports local logistics execution, audits, cargo claims, inventory accuracy, and logistics reporting, providing timely data and visibility on transport lead times, delivery performance, and open issues. Working closely with Supply Operations, Finance, Tax, Trade Compliance, Quality, and external logistics partners, the incumbent will resolve operational escalations, drive corrective actions, ensure adherence to defined processes and standards, and contribute to continuous improvements in data quality, documentation accuracy, and overall logistics execution.
Your Profile
You should have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 4 years of relevant experience in logistics planning, transport management, warehouse/3PL coordination, customs support, or supply chain operations, preferably within an external manufacturing or high-tech environment.
Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics, cross-business-unit shipments, transport lanes, warehouse and hub operations, Incoterms, customs and trade compliance, packaging, lead times, and logistics cost drivers is required.
The ideal candidate should have experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and external logistics partners, managing shipment tracking, exceptions, documentation, and operational follow-ups, as well as working with ERP, transport management, warehouse management, or logistics reporting systems.
