Your Role
As an Estimator, you will:
- Review tender documents including drawings, specifications, addendums, RFIs, and SIs.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and determine material requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain material quotations for project pricing.
- Prepare project material and labor cost estimates.
- Create bid packages and tender pricing submissions based on client specifications.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Proficient in blueprint reading and performing quantity take-offs.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows 11.
- Prior experience performing take-offs and working with construction teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High mathematical and technical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
- Dedicated, hardworking, and a strong team player.
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new skills and concepts.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Hands-on experience using PlanSwift software.
- Background knowledge in roofing and wall cladding is an advantage.
