RemoteVA PH is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for interior fit-out projects. You will collaborate closely with our design, procurement, and construction teams to deliver competitive, high-quality bids that align with project goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural drawings and specifications to prepare comprehensive material and labor estimates
- Source and coordinate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns and client proposals
- Collaborate with the design team to verify project scope and identify value engineering opportunities
- Support seamless handoff to construction teams, ensuring all estimate details are clearly communicated
Requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or interior fit-out projects
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and NYC building standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, Plan Swift, and/or other estimating software
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical documents
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AutoCAD and architectural design software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
