As a full-time Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for glass and aluminium work. Based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila, this position offers the opportunity to be part of a team that delivers.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for glass and aluminum components in construction projects
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and materials information
- Analyzing technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify all necessary materials and labour
- Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project budgets and timelines
- Maintaining a comprehensive database of cost data, labour rates, and material pricing
- Identifying potential cost savings and efficiencies throughout the estimating process
- Providing support and mentorship to junior estimating staff as needed
What we're looking for
- Experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on Glass and Aluminum
- Thorough understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation
- Proficient in the use of estimating software and AutoCAD
