Job Summary
As an Estimator Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the estimation and project planning team by performing quantity take-offs, preparing cost proposals, and coordinating project schedules. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and prepare detailed bills of materials for projects.
- Conduct canvassing to source competitive pricing and ensure cost efficiency.
- Assist in developing project schedules and coordinating tasks with the team.
- Develop pricing estimates based on project requirements and market trends.
- Prepare comprehensive project proposals and reports.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; licensure is an advantage but not mandatory.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in estimation or a related field.
- Proficient in quantity take-offs and cost estimation methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A resourceful team player who is quick to learn and adaptable to changing demands.
