The ERP Systems Analyst (Finance) is responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with a strong focus on financial modules. The role bridges business finance requirements and IT solutions, ensuring that ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent systems effectively support financial reporting, controls, compliance, and business decision-making.

Responsibilities
ERP & Systems Analysis
- Analyze business and finance requirements and translate them into functional and technical ERP solutions.
- Configure, enhance, and support ERP financial modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA, CO, Budgeting, Costing).
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for ERP finance-related processes and integrations.
- Conduct system impact analysis for enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.
Finance Process & Controls
- Work closely with Finance teams to optimize end-to-end financial processes (record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash).
- Ensure ERP configurations align with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Implementation & Project Support
- Participate in ERP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects, including requirements gathering, design workshops, testing, and go-live support.
- Prepare functional specifications, process flows, and configuration documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal IT teams during project execution.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute test scenarios, unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate data accuracy, financial reports, and system outputs.
- Support data migration, reconciliation, and post-go-live stabilization.
Reporting & Data Management
- Support standard and custom financial reporting using ERP tools and related BI/reporting platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and proper master data governance.
- Assist in developing dashboards and management reports for finance stakeholders.
Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide Level 2/3 application support for ERP finance modules.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend permanent solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and system optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, SAP/Oracle Certification) are an advantage.
- Minimum 58 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or ERP Analyst.
- Proven hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP (ECC/S4HANA), Oracle E-Business Suite / Oracle Fusion, or equivalent.
- Strong background in finance and accounting processes.
- Experience in ERP implementation, upgrades, or major enhancements.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of ERP financial modules and configurations.
- Understanding of system integrations, interfaces, and data flows.
- Experience with SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis is an advantage.
- Familiarity with change management, transport management, and system documentation.
