Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ERP Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-wide ERP solutions supporting core business operations across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and related functional domains.
The ERP Solution Architect will play a critical leadership role in translating complex business requirements into scalable, integrated, and maintainable ERP architectures aligned with enterprise strategy and operational objectives. This role requires deep ERP (SAP) domain expertise, strong architectural capability, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional solution delivery teams within large transformation programs.
The successful candidate will drive ERP (SAP) standardization, integration governance, solution quality, and best-practice adoption while minimizing unnecessary customization and technical debt.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and communicate a multi-dimensional solution architecture to deliver agreed business outcomes
  • Design IT systems to meet specified requirements and agreed systems architectures
  • Manage requirements through the entire delivery and operational life cycle
  • Establish and implement sustainable digital strategies in line with the organization's sustainable IT strategy and ambition
  • Ensure that the entire service provides the value and benefits that meet the users needs and the desired outcomes of the organization, balancing the user needs and the business needs
  • Understand and assess business situations, drivers and goals to define them as business and user needs. Discover and identify customer requirements and emerging needs, and develop optimized solutions or recommendations to address these delivering delightful customer experience

  • Architecture Stability
    • Robustness of solution recommendation to cater to business requirements defined in the foreseeable future (3-5 years) avoidance of the need for major re-architecture efforts post solution implementation unless driven by a significant change in business requirements and strategy
  • Architecture Integrity
    • Compliance with Enterprise Architecture standards, principles and best practices during solutioning avoidance of interim solutions/workarounds
  • Solution Quality
    • Functional and technical compliance to capability requirements avoidance of solution gaps
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Continuously build and improve processes, tools and methodology to strengthen relationships and communication, solution development and delivery, success metrics and feedback loops


1. ERP Solution Architecture & Design

  • Define and maintain the overall ERP application architecture.
  • Design integrated end-to-end business processes across:
    • Finance
    • Supply Chain
    • Human Resources
    • Warehousing and Operations
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, unified solution architectures.
  • Create scalable, secure, maintainable, and future-ready solution blueprints.
  • Ensure architectural consistency and adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Define ERP module interactions, orchestration, and end-to-end data flow.
  • Establish design principles that prioritize standardization and minimize unnecessary customization.
  • Review ERP solution designs and configurations.
  • Ensure alignment between functional requirements and technical implementation.

2. Business Process Analysis & Transformation

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement-gathering exercises.
  • Analyze current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) business processes.
  • Lead FIT/GAP analysis activities across ERP functional domains.
  • Recommend ERP best practices and process optimization opportunities.
  • Design cross-functional workflows and operational process integration.
  • Support business transformation initiatives through process harmonization and system enablement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within ERP-enabled business processes.

3. Integration Architecture & Governance

  • Define integration architecture and governance standards for ERP ecosystems.
  • Oversee data models and enterprise data flows across ERP and external systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration between:
    • ERP platforms
    • Third-party applications
    • Legacy systems
    • Data warehouses
    • Reporting and analytics platforms
  • Collaborate with technical teams on APIs, middleware, and integration frameworks.
  • Ensure solution interoperability, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Govern integration patterns and interface standards.

4. Technical Leadership & Delivery Governance

  • Provide architectural leadership to ERP implementation and support teams.
  • Guide functional consultants, technical consultants, developers, and integration specialists.
  • Mentor and develop internal ERP team members and solution resources.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and design assurance activities.
  • Resolve complex cross-functional and cross-technical issues.
  • Support ERP program governance, delivery oversight, and risk management.
  • Ensure alignment between project execution and enterprise architecture strategy.
  • Participate in steering committee discussions and executive governance forums where required.

5. Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Engage effectively with stakeholders across operational, management, and executive levels.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in business-friendly language.
  • Facilitate decision-making workshops and architecture discussions.
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders, implementation partners, and technology vendors.
  • Operate confidently within enterprise governance and transformation structures.
  • Influence architectural direction and solution adoption across the organization.


HIRING REQUIREMENTS:


Required Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in ERP implementation and enterprise application environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP Solution Architecture roles.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale ERP transformation programs.
  • Strong experience across multiple ERP functional domains including:
    • Finance
    • Supply Chain
    • HR
    • Warehousing
  • Experience leading FIT/GAP analysis and enterprise solution design.
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP integration and enterprise architecture governance.
  • Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments.

Level of Knowledge

  • Preferably with SAP work experience
  • Expert in at least one to two modules of SAP Solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant technical degree
