Position Overview
As an Equity Analyst at Fiscal.ai, you will play a key role in analyzing and compiling financial data from publicly listed companies, with a strong emphasis on tracking and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) to generate actionable insights on company performance. You will help maintain the accuracy and integrity of our database, process customer data requests, and support new product initiatives related to financial data and analytics. This role requires a strong foundation in finance and accounting, particularly in financial reporting, financial analysis, and equity analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and compile financial data of publicly listed companies while tracking and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) to generate insights on company performance
- Keep our database up to date on a quarterly reporting basis
- Process customer company or data requests efficiently
- Understand and update company data when financial reporting changes occur
- Develop standardized KPI frameworks across industries
- Assist in driving new Fiscal.ai data initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in the role
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Strong background in finance and accounting, preferably in financial reporting, financial analysis, and/or equity analysis
- Proven ability to analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and market disclosures to extract key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP, Local GAAP, IFRS)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to take initiative
- CPA preferred but not required
