Job Description
The Equipment Technician supports the reliability and efficient operation of production and utility systems by performing equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor the condition and performance of refrigeration, compressed air, power, steam, and other utility systems, and address issues as needed.
- Provide technical support for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of production, utility, and support equipment.
- Maintain accurate equipment records, including specifications, ratings, identification details, and maintenance history.
- Carry out scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance activities, including equipment condition monitoring and performance analysis.
- Investigate equipment breakdowns, perform corrective repairs, and support technical assessments to identify potential causes of failure.
- Assist in equipment installation, load testing, and other maintenance activities in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall production performance.
- Ensure critical equipment and operating systems remain in safe and reliable working condition.
- Promote a strong safety culture by protecting people, products, equipment, tools, materials, and other company assets within the work area.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant OJT or internship experience in a manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply.
- Working knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and utility systems.
- Familiarity with PID, control engineering systems, and PLC is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with different teams when addressing technical concerns.
- Physically capable of handling and lifting equipment or materials weighing up to 20 kg when required.
- Willing to work full onsite in Laguna.
