Are you a strategic leader with a proven track record in heavy equipment fleet management and batching plant operations A dynamic construction company is looking for a highly competent, results-driven Equipment Management Group (EMG) Head / Manager to lead our nationwide operations.

THE ROLE
As the EMG Manager, you will take full ownership of the Company's Equipment Management Group. You will provide strategic and hands-on leadership over heavy equipment fleets, batching plant operations, workshops, and maintenance programs—ensuring every project receives the right asset at the right time, in the right condition, and at the most economical cost.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet & Plant Leadership: Oversee the efficient planning, deployment, control, utilization, and maintenance of heavy construction equipment and batching plants nationwide.
Team Management: Guide and mentor Motorpool Supervisors, Equipment Superintendents, and Preventive Maintenance teams while collaborating closely with Project Managers.
Financial Stewardship: Manage the department budget, control labor and maintenance costs, optimize operating expenses, and conduct sound lifecycle/ROI analyses.
Asset Lifecycle Management: Evaluate operational performance and make decisive recommendations for equipment acquisition, rehabilitation, replacement, or disposal.
Qualifications
Education & License: Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
Experience
At least 15 years of progressive experience in heavy equipment management within the construction industry.
Minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership or managerial capacity.
Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with equipment diagnostics, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management for excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, dump trucks, cranes, batching plants, asphalt equipment, rollers, generators, and compressors.
Skills: Proficient in MS Office and computerized maintenance/fleet management systems (CMMS). Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
