Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any related course. Licensed engineer.
  • Computer literacy is a distinct advantage with experience in graphical software preferably Labview, NI peripherals, and PCB tools.
  • Experienced LabVIEW developer for test systems
  • Capable in programming language e.g. C+, Visual basic, Python is an added advantage
  • Expertise in Electromechanical engineering. Background in Electrical and Computer
  • Experience in acoustic testing is preferred.
  • Has an experience in equipment maintenance
  • Background in electronic schematic, graphical software, programming, and engineering drawing is preferred.
  • Adept in Test equipment development, maintenance, calibration, and modification;
  • Has formal tester apprenticeship and experience in fabrication, maintenance and repair of auto and manual handlers plus competent use of relevant instrument, device, and meters for measurement and inspection is an advantage.
  • Experience of working in an ISO 9000 environment and compliance with OSHA or equivalent lockout, tag-out procedures is required.
  • Knowledgeable with the use of minitab and with setting up DOE's
  • Can perform data analysis on test results.

  • Experienced in using PXI and PXIe based test systems
  • Knowledgeable with electronic circuits.

  • Must be willing to work at Cebu Light Industrial Park, Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Write test software using National Instruments LabView
  • Hardware design, modify, implement, simulate and debug analog circuits for test solutions
  • Responsible for ensuring availability of test systems thru repair, maintenance, improvements and calibration
  • Responsible for making test equipment or test process improvements to address the systemic issues of the test area, which can include low yield issues and OQC issues.
  • Provide test methodologies improvements and new test solutions as required by operations
  • Conduct repair, preventive maintenance and calibration of Test Systems
  • Ensure a healthy sparepart management system is maintained thru system compliance and fabrication of required engineering spareparts.
  • Ensure all assets are managed properly thru monitoring and control and thru adherence to the hardware management systems of test.
  • Provide improvements on the testing process such as standardization of testing processes.
  • Ensure test systems are correlated to each other.
  • Address line issues such as low yields and OQC's.
  • Collaborate with production departments on problems concerning test area facilities, equipment and fixtures.
  • Develop new test solutions as requirements for new models.
  • Support automation initiatives to improve test area KPI's.
  • Ensure test standards are implemented, complied and improved.
  • Evaluate internal defect downtime information to form appropriate plans of improvement.
  • Participate in equipment inspections, process safety reviews and process hazard analysis.
