We are looking for a Medical Coordinator based in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, who will play a pivotal role in leading and managing clinical healthcare services within our International SOS Medical Services Business Line. Patient Care Management
- Conduct thorough clinical consultations ensuring the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based medical care, meeting the highest professional standards.
- Establish and maintain a family-oriented clinical practice that promotes continuity and comprehensive follow-up care for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Lead preventative health initiatives by designing, implementing, and structuring medical screening programs that effectively identify and manage health risks.
- Supervise and ensure the consistent delivery of competent and professional health services fully compliant with International SOS standards and protocols.
- Manage patient triage systems proficiently, optimizing patient flow to reduce wait times and enhance clinical efficiency within the facility.
- Provide expert medical leadership and support to onsite healthcare teams, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
- Deliver ongoing training sessions and educational programs on current medical topics, advances, and best practices to enhance staff competencies.
- Perform routine rounds in emergency and short-term inpatient care units, including coordinating comprehensive handovers to medical personnel during shift changes to maintain continuity of care.
- Liaise closely with Assistance Centre teams to coordinate patient preparation and manage safe, timely medical evacuations as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities
- Educate and support non-medical staff to enhance cross-functional understanding of medical procedures and patient care priorities.
- Serve as a medical escort for patient evacuations when specialized medical accompaniment is required, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Contribute expertise by providing locum support at International SOS sites globally, offering flexibility and knowledge transfer to diverse healthcare environments.
- Uphold and promote compliance with all International SOS policies, procedures, and corporate values to foster a safe, ethical, and high-performing workplace.
- Participate in project initiatives or undertake additional duties assigned by management to continuously improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.

Requirements
- Medical Doctor with 5 years plus post-graduation experience gained within Accident & Emergency and General Practice
- Sound knowledge of the principles of general practice management and administration
- Medical Degree essential with current medical licence.
- Current ACLS & ITLS/PHTLS/ATLS certification.
