The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will be responsible for leading the efforts to ensure regulatory compliance by collating data and assisting in the preparation of reports for various governmental bodies. The Manager conducts regular audits and inspections, facilitates EHS program implementation and activities, and partners with multiple functional teams to enhance safety and sustainability. Additionally, this role is tasked with investigating incidents, contributing to committee meetings, and delivering training to ensure a secure and environmentally conscious workplace.


Responsibilities
  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Collate data and assist in the preparation of regulatory reports for the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and others, as needed.
  • Assist in the creation of purchase orders related to EHS Operations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections in Manila sites to verify compliances to EHS playbooks, regulatory requirements, and any other applicable requirements.
  • Assist in EHS programing implementation and engagement activities including EHS week celebration, safety related programs, and partnership with affinity groups.
  • Liaise with other functional teams including Human Resources, IT, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Sustainability, Facilities, and Learning and Development to help improve customer experience.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of environmentally friendly, safe and healthy workplace for employees.
  • Assist in the investigation of EHS-related incidents and complete internal and external incident reports.
  • Contribute to worker consultation and participation in OHS committee meetings.
  • Work with the extended team (GPP) to implement controls to eliminate risks in the workplace.
  • Ensure that in-house contractors are educated and knowledgeable in their EHS responsibilities.
  • Deliver EHS training for the newly hired employees.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or environmental studies with at least three years of EHS experience.

  • Occupational Certificate in Health and Safety (OHS), preferred.
  • Proficient English language skills; written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DNR) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
  • Able to be collaborative cross functional relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Self-starter and motivated to deliver value added EHS programs.
  • Able to adapt in a fast paced, ever changing and growing organization.
  • Client orientated and results driven.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
