Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Environment, Heatlh & Safety Engineer.
What are there Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of the company to regulatory requirements (DOLE, DENR, BFP, LLDA, etc)
- Develops, implements, and monitors compliance to EHS programs, policies and procedures in coordination with the EHS Committee
- Initiates and intensifies EHS management activities including awareness campaigns
- Attends as duly authorized representative of the establishment on inspections, technical conferences, and meetings with regulatory agencies
- Conducts routine site inspection to identify unsafe conditions / acts in the plant and set necessary measures
- Inspects workplaces and workplace equipment to ensure they meet safety regulations and identifies hazards and risk
- Investigates accidents and prepare Accident Reports identifying causes and action plans to eliminate recurrence
- Ensure issuance of PPE to employees to ensure their safety while performing respective tasks
- Facilitate / Lead a Team to perform HIRA and JHA
- Maintain condition of fire prevention equipment to ensure its effective working condition
- Spearhead fire drills and earthquake evacuation exercises to create awareness and to avoid casualties
- Conducts / coordinates EHS-related trainings & drills (e.g. mandatory orientation for new hires & employees, first aid training)
- Ensures compliance with the requirements of PD 1586, RA 6969, RA 8749, RA 9003, RA 9275 and their IRRs
- Submits reports essential for the company's compliance to EHS regulations
What are the Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- Licensed Engineer (preferably Mechanical / Electrical)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Knowledgeable in applicable laws and regulatory requirements related to OSH and environment
- Preferably knowledgeable in GMP, HACCP, food safety PRPs
- Has attended Basic OSH Training and / or advanced OSH trainings
- Applicants must be willing to work in Brgy. Talaan Sariaya Quezon.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
