As the EHS Officer at Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's commitment to health, safety and environmental practices. This full-time position is based in Binan City Laguna and will involve overseeing the implementation of robust EHS policies and procedures across the organization.
What you'll be doing
- Developing, implementing and monitoring EHS policies, procedures and systems to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Conducting risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate control measures
- Providing training and support to all employees on EHS matters to promote a strong safety culture
- Investigating incidents, accidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all business activities
- Preparing and submitting regulatory reports and maintaining detailed EHS records
- Staying up-to-date with evolving EHS legislation and best practices, and recommending improvements to policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field/any engineering course
- Preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations and best practices applicable to the construction industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Effective communication and training skills to engage with employees at all levels
- Proficiency in using EHS-related software and data management tools
- Collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
- Open to fresh graduates with safety officer certification
