Job Description
The Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Officer is responsible for providing plans and direction to the organization in terms of Environment, Health and Safety and improve the environmental and safety performance of the plant.
• Ensures the effective implementation of Environmental and Safety Management System and procedures.
• Facilitates the submission of legal reports and renewal of all permits applicable to the operation of the company.
• Develops, implements, and regularly tests emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Identifies and recommends process and system improvements to enhance plant operations.
• Conducts site assessments and compliance audits within the commissary facility.
• Institute EHS Training system and personnel awareness activities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree holder in Chemistry or any Engineering course (preferably Chemical or Mechanical)
• At least five (5) years of work experience in the field of environment, health, and safety or similar equivalent roles
• Preferably a Licensed Engineer or Chemist
• Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and/or Safety Officer (SO) preferred
• Knowledgeable in ISO 45001 or 14001
• Candidate must be willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna
