The Venture
EnerGoals is the scaling partner for decentralized energy developers and EPCs. The platform unlocks growth by integrating flexible financing, vetted workforce access, procurement support, and investor-grade risk and payment infrastructure into a single backend system. By removing operational and capital bottlenecks, EnerGoals enables developers to deliver zero-down offerings, execute projects more reliably, and scale portfolios faster while maintaining transparency and confidence for capital providers.
Role Overview
EnerGoals is seeking a Co-Founder / Chief Financial Officer to architect and lead the company's financial infrastructure.
This role sits at the core of the platform's strategy: converting fragmented developer pipelines into financeable, investable portfolios for institutional capital.
The CFO will design the underwriting frameworks, capital structures, and portfolio analytics that allow distributed energy assets to be financed at scale.
Working alongside the CEO, the CFO will build the financial backbone of EnerGoals while shaping the company's long-term capital strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Formation & Financing Strategy
Design and execute the company's capital strategy, including equity fundraising, debt facilities, and structured finance vehicles.
Develop relationships with:
Structure financing solutions that enable developers to offer zero-down or flexible energy solutions to SME customers.
Underwriting & Risk Infrastructure
Build the underwriting and credit frameworks used to evaluate solar developers, EPCs, and project portfolios.
Define standards for:
Establish a disciplined credit and investment process supported by clear documentation and decision frameworks.
Portfolio Structuring & Capital Markets Readiness
Aggregate fragmented distributed energy projects into institutionally credible portfolios suitable for debt financing or investment vehicles.
Design structures that allow capital providers to deploy efficiently while maintaining strong portfolio visibility and performance monitoring.
Support the long-term development of portfolio analytics and investor reporting infrastructure.
Financial Platform Architecture
Work with product and technology leadership to embed financial workflows, underwriting data, and portfolio monitoring into the EnerGoals platform.
Ensure that project data, developer documentation, and operational performance metrics align with capital provider requirements.
Over time, help build EnerGoals into the financial operating system for decentralized energy projects.
Governance & Investor Reporting
Develop strong financial governance and reporting systems to support investors, lenders, and board oversight.
Lead preparation of:
Ensure EnerGoals maintains credibility and transparency with institutional capital providers.
Ideal Profile
We are looking for a builder with deep financial expertise and strong comfort operating in early-stage environments.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
Experience in Southeast Asia energy markets or climate finance is strongly preferred.
