Enterprise Solutions Architect

About the Role

As Associate Director – Solution Architecture, you will lead the design and governance of technology solutions across multiple initiatives.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, data teams, and technology leaders to translate business requirements into practical solution architectures.

The role covers three key technology domains:

• Software Development – architecture for modern applications, services, APIs, and integrations
• Data Engineering / Data Platforms – architecture for data pipelines, storage, processing, integration, and analytics platforms
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) – architecture and integration of AI capabilities into enterprise solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business and technology requirements.
• Lead architecture decisions across software applications, data platforms, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, patterns, and technical guidelines.
• Review solution designs and identify scalability, performance, integration, security, and maintainability considerations.
• Partner with software engineers, data engineers, AI teams, product teams, and business stakeholders.
• Guide teams on technology selection and architectural trade-offs.
• Support application and platform modernization initiatives.
• Ensure solutions integrate effectively with existing enterprise systems and platforms.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
• Mentor architects and senior technical professionals.
• Communicate architecture decisions and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in technology, software engineering, architecture, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise or large-scale solution architectures.
• Strong background in software development and application architecture.
• Experience with data engineering, data architecture, or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience designing or integrating AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, distributed applications, or service-based architectures.
• Experience making architecture decisions involving scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Experience working with engineering, data, product, business, and technology stakeholders.
• Experience providing technical leadership or architectural direction to engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate complex architecture concepts to senior stakeholders.
