Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and maintenance team in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of production equipment, utilities, and facilities while driving operational excellence and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering, maintenance, and utilities team.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Oversee maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and plant utilities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment efficiency, cost optimization, and process reliability.
• Manage engineering projects, including equipment installation, upgrades, facility improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments to support operational goals.
• Coach and develop engineering team members to strengthen technical capabilities and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 8–10 years of engineering and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong experience in plant maintenance, utilities, facilities management, and capital projects.
• Knowledge of TPM, preventive maintenance systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external contractors.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
