Role Description The Engineering Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Guiguinto, Bulacan. This position oversees engineering operations and teams involved in the design, improvement, and maintenance of manufacturing processes, equipment, and product lines. Daily responsibilities include managing engineering projects, coordinating cross-functional initiatives with production, quality, and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. The Engineering Manager plans and prioritizes technical work, allocates resources, and mentors engineering staff to achieve performance and development goals. The role also involves monitoring system integrations, resolving technical issues, optimizing workflows, and providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Engineering Management and Project Management skills to plan, execute, and oversee engineering initiatives.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Leadership skills to guide, coach, and develop engineering and technical staff.
- Candidates should possess experience with Software Development or technical systems relevant to manufacturing and process control.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills to coordinate engineering solutions across equipment, systems, and production lines.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field); a master's degree or professional certifications are an advantage.
- Proven experience in an engineering leadership role within manufacturing, construction materials, or a related industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in engineering and productivity tools.
- Solid understanding of ISO standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on-site.
