Review factory schedules and Build Plan to ensure the demand and materials are driving correctly in the ERP system.
Attend all critical Core Team Meetings prepared to discuss all materials and documentation issues.
Control the purchase of unique and/or EC-controlled materials to support build plan of early prototypes, pilot runs and production ramp up until materials are stable in the design
Process of the initial Bill of Material in the ERP system.
Work with Design Team regarding timely BOM update, ECO implementation & communication to Planning & MSR before or during the build
Raise SRF for outgoing factory / customer shipments coming from Eastwood Engineering
Respond weekly to Factory Commodity team with regards to go/no go of build of EC-controlled Commodity assembly to prevent scrappage
Provide timely response to Planning's BOM exposure report to ensure that cost/scrappage are accounted for.
Qualifications
Graduate of BS Engineering course or equivalent
At least 2-year related experience in Materials Engineering
Advanced MS Office skills > Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Good written and communications skills
Familiarity with Oracle MRP System
Has initiative to solve problem and make decision in the most effective way.
Self-motivated with good prioritization & organizational skills
