Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review project status
- Review daily accomplishments and backlogs on job orders and projects
- Plan and ensure implementation of a comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance program for the whole plant.
- Ensure delivery of key Performance Indicators
- Prepare plans and implement electrical and mechanical installations of utilization equipment's and machineries.
- Prepare studies, design and implement cost reduction measures and projects
- Implement modification, alternations and improvements on existing machineries and system based on thorough study w/c aim to improve operation in terms of quality and output.
- Make inquiry and submit proposal for major machine part purchasing
- Ensure availability of spare parts
- Approve engineering documents necessary for the departments operation.
- Short meeting with Supervisor to plan schedules for the next working day.
- Conduct 5S to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of his/her assigned work area.
Occasionally:
- Attend management meetings.
- Recommend promotion, hiring, firing, evaluates and appraises personnel's performances.
- Develop equipment specifications and engineering requirements to meet production needs.
- Manage the maintenance program for the building equipment and plant facilities.
- Design and implement fabrication for equipment's or machines for a particular process.
Annually:
- Prepare yearly accomplishments
- Prepare yearly strategic plan
- Prepare departments budget.
Qualifications:
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or Graduate of any Engineering Course
- At least 5 years experience as supervisor, 2 years experience in a managerial position
- Knowledge in machine design, electrical plan and design.
