Engineer (VB.NET/SQL Server)

About the Role

The Engineer (VB.NET/SQL Server) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting software solutions, as well as contributing to software development initiatives. This role requires strong experience in software development and a solid understanding of databases and enterprise systems.

How you'll contribute

• Builds code to specifications and standards independently for moderately complex software.
• Performs comprehensive testing and debugging of complex software to support processes for software components including performance optimization; Contributes code within their direct team.
• Collaborates effectively within and across teams; Maintains and enforces guidelines on patterns and frameworks effectively.

What we're looking for

• Atleast 4 years of relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), and SSIS
• Working knowledge of Batch scripting for automation and system processes
• Hands-on experience with AS400 FBEQ and ETL Data Transfer File (DTF) tools
• Proven experience in supporting and maintaining financial systems, preferably BSP Financial Reporting Package (FRP)
