As part of our global engineering team, you will work on advanced test program development, ATE platform migration, data analysis, pre-silicon verification, and new product bring-up. You'll collaborate closely with Product Engineering, Design Engineering, and Test Development teams to deliver cutting-edge semiconductor solutions from concept to production.

Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Manages, plans and ensures manufactured components and assembled products meet Infineon standards and objectives
- Works on installation, correlation and production release of test programs, data handling, interpretation of test results, interface to test development and product engineering, optimization of test package stability.
- Optimizes test programs stability regarding test coverage vs. yield, test time, test cost, performance, development and implementation of special purpose characterization test programs.
- Converts test programs between different test platforms (i.e. from one ATE platform to another ATE platform, from one prober system to another prober system...) including all necessary software and hardware engineering issues; review/avoidance of possible test coverage influences by change of test platform.
- Assessment of weaknesses in test coverage and correction of them, considering also the cost involved.
- Creates test methods and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet test program deliverables for new products.
- Performs pre-silicon verification, interprets results and works independently with Design Engineer (New product test bring up).
Your profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly in test engineering, test processes, and equipment, are preferred. Experienced candidates may be considered for Senior Engineer positions.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as:
- Java
- C++
- Python
- Other relevant programming languages
- Experience operating and programming Advantest V93K and Nextest Magnum test platforms is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to:
- Interpret technical data
- Identify root causes
- Develop effective solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with global cross-functional partners.
