Job Description:
Support analysis, debugging, and test program improvements as required by Test Product Engineering and Manufacturing.
Debug and support root cause analysis of test program and hardware issues act as Test Engineering (TE) support for production-related issues.
Conduct test data analysis and engineering evaluations for manufacturing issues.
Serve as a technical resource for test methodology and hardware design.
Drive test program conversion, including:
.Test program coding
.Pre-qualification and data correlation
.Qualification and release activities
Support test hardware design for both probe and final test stages.
Collaborate with product, test, failure analysis, and manufacturing engineering teams.
Understand and implement test and qualification requirements.
Ensure compliance with Microchip's quality standards.
Utilize moderate knowledge of automated test equipment (ATE), preferably Magnum and Diamond platforms, as well as related electronic laboratory instruments and bench test setups.
Apply moderate knowledge of C++ programming in test engineering tasks.
Demonstrate a good understanding of semiconductor devices and basic test methodologies.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in test engineering or a related semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Moderate experience with automated test equipment (ATE) knowledge of Diamond, Magnum, or other ATE platforms is a plus.
Proficiency in C++ programming.
Experience with electronic laboratory instruments and bench test setups.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in debugging and root cause analysis.
Good understanding of semiconductor devices and test methodologies.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with test hardware design for probe and final test is preferred.
Knowledge of data analysis tools and engineering evaluation techniques is an advantage.
