Education:
Graduate of any Technical or IT-related courses (such as BS Computer Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Computer Technology, Computer Science or Information Technology)
Preferred Experience and Skills:
• At least 2 years experience in technical support
• At least 1 year experience in network maintenance and security, Cisco routers, switches, and core switches; Cisco voice gateways, firewalls, and Intrusion Preventions Systems
• Must be proficient in the following:
> Implementing network topologies and configurations (VLANS, NAT, QoS, CoS, Access lists, and trunking)
> LAN, WAN and voice telecommunications
> Different operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Macintosh
> Network maintenance and security
> Cisco routers, switches, and core switches; Cisco voice gateways, firewalls, and Intrusion Preventions Systems
• Good Stakeholder Management, problem solving, continuous improvement and technical issue resolution skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications:
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• CompTIA Network+ Training and Certification
• Certified IP Telecom Network Specialist (CIPTS)
• ITIL 4 Foundation Training and Certification
• Other trainings and certifications related to existing networking and telecommunication technologies including network security e.g. cisco, solarwinds, F5 networks, GlobalProtect VPN, PaloAlto Networks, RSA
