Job Description

The Engagement Coordinator is responsible for driving, coordinating, and sustaining employee engagement initiatives across all sites and teams of this account in the Philippines. This role acts as the central point for planning, executing, and monitoring engagement activities that foster a positive work culture, boost team morale, improve retention, and align employees with the account's goals and values. You will work closely with operations, HR, and team leaders to ensure consistent, inclusive, and impactful engagement across all geographies.

The Engagement Coordinator will be reporting to Operations and will be working in the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage engagement programs, activities, and events (virtual and on-site) tailored to the needs and interests of employees in different locations within the Philippines.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between operations teams, HR, and local site representatives to gather feedback, identify engagement gaps, and address employee concerns or suggestions.
  • Plan and execute regular engagement activities such as team-building sessions, recognition programs, wellness initiatives, skill-building workshops, and cultural events.
  • Track engagement metrics, participation rates, and feedback; prepare regular reports and recommendations to improve future activities and measure impact on retention and productivity.
  • Ensure alignment of all engagement initiatives with company policies, account standards, and cultural values; promote open communication and a sense of belonging among all employees.
  • Coordinate logistics, budgets, resources, and communication materials for all engagement activities, ensuring timely and smooth delivery across all locations.
  • Support change management and internal communication efforts to keep employees informed, involved, and motivated.
  • Build and maintain relationships with team leaders and supervisors to encourage their active participation and support in engagement efforts.
  • Identify and recognize high-performing teams and individuals through formal and informal recognition programs.

Qualifications:

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of work experience in employee engagement, HR, operations, or related roles within the BPO or service industry.
  • Experience organizing events, programs, or activities across multiple sites or locations is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Philippine work culture, regional differences, and employee engagement trends in the local BPO industry.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino; ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and across different regions.
  • Project Coordination: Strong planning, organization, and project management skills; ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic, approachable, and able to build strong relationships; skilled in conflict resolution and gathering employee feedback.
  • Creativity: Ability to design engaging, inclusive, and relevant activities suitable for diverse teams and locations.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret engagement data, feedback, and trends to make informed decisions and improvements.
  • Cultural Awareness: Understanding of regional differences within the Philippines and ability to tailor initiatives that are inclusive and respectful of all employees.
  • Tech Proficiency: Skilled in using productivity tools (MS Office, collaboration platforms, survey tools) for planning, communication, and reporting.
